Our company was founded on May 19, 1999 under the name of “Star Electrical Services & General Supplies, Inc.”<\/strong> . The company’s goal is to perform electrical acceptance tests and maintenance tests on new and existing equipment.<\/p>

In 1987, Mr. Abelardo Hern\u00e1ndez began his professional career at the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) in the generating plants division. In 1992 he assumed the responsibility of Superintendent of the Generating Plants Division. In this position he acquired the necessary knowledge to specialize in the field of electrical testing in distribution, transmission and generation substations.<\/p>

Mr. Hern\u00e1ndez acknowledged that the field of electrical testing fascinated him. He felt limited within the field of Electrical Engineering in his work and decided to leave his position at PREPA to dedicate time and effort to create and establish his own company.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Star Electrical<\/strong> began servicing the eastern area and rapidly expanded throughout the island. Eventually, services expanded to the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States. Star Electrical Services<\/strong> has profesionals engineers ande certified technicians to perform electrical acceptance and maintenance tests to hight votage substation and electrical equipment. Over the years, new services have been added to our portfolio, which facilitates the formation of a group of professionals trained in providing electrical solutions that equal or exceed those provided by other organizations in Latin America and the United States.<\/p>
